The overview

The ARX2 receiver is a two-channel true diversity receiver with Sound Devices exclusive Spectraband technology, which gives the receiver a frequency range between 470-1525Mhz in one unit. Over 1Ghz of possible frequencies to use. With superior brick-wall SAW filters, it can be used even in the noisiest RF environments and AutoAssign makes frequency selection and settings quick and easy.

• SpectraBand Technology: compatible with Astral Mini, Astral TX, Astral HH between 470 MHz - 1525 MHz and all bands of the A10-TX.
• Advanced Digital True Diversity using two complete RF receivers per channel, giving the receiver a total of four RF receivers.
• SuperSlot compatible with SL-2 and 8 series from Sound Devices.
• State-of-the-art 100% digital long-range modulation provides the longest possible transmission distance on the market, when comparing digital systems with the same antennas, frequency and transmit power.
• GainForward; compatible with all Astral transmitters. Set the gain of the receiver directly on the mixer (with an 8 series) or on the receiver of other mixers.
• Full 10 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response; 100% digital RF modulation and transmission.
• Excellent shielding to nearby IFB or camera transmitters without the need for external filters or extra cabling.
• Available in XLR and Superslot version (and soon in TA3)
• Analog line-level or AES output.
