Deity Theos Digital Wireless
- Uses a wideband UHF spectrum instead of the congested 2.4 GHz band. The frequencies range between 550-960 MHz (the exact frequency range depends on the block/regional kit purchased).
- The transmitter has a built-in recorder for backup files. The recorder supports both 24-bit and 32-bit float, so you never have to worry about gain settings on your backup WAV files. Perfect to avoid dropped signals and wireless interference.
- Recordings are saved on a Micro SD card of up to 128 GB.
- The transmitter can wirelessly synchronize its timecode with the Deity TC-1 timecode generator. The timecode ensures that your backup WAV files are in sync with the main file in post-production.
- You can broadcast and record simultaneously (customers in the US may only broadcast or record).
- Both transmitter and receiver can be controlled remotely via the Sidus Audio app. Remote control includes frequency search, frequency assignment, coordination between multiple receivers, gain adjustment and remote start of the backup recorder.
- Each unit is powered by two AA batteries with a battery life of 7-10 hours. Battery status can also be monitored via the Sidus Audio app.
- Color display (LCD) showing the status of the device.
- CNC-milled aluminum chassis.
- SMA antenna connectors make it possible to change antennas for optimal adaptation to the frequency block or to replace them in case of damage. It also makes the equipment more compact for transportation.
As a filmmaker, sound is one of the most crucial parts of your work. There are few things more frustrating than discovering that your audio is unusable due to interference, dropped signals or other issues. That's where Deity Theo's Digital Wireless Microphone System comes in - an advanced system designed to make audio recording as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
Deity Theos Digital Wireless excels by using a wide UHF spectrum instead of the narrow 2.4 GHz band. The system's frequencies range from 550 to 960 MHz, depending on the version (block/region) used.
This reduces the risk of interference that often occurs in congested frequency ranges.
For filmmakers working in different locations, where many devices may compete for frequency space, a wideband UHF system is a crucial advantage. Deity Theos Digital Wireless gives you access to a clear and stable frequency at all times.
The system has a transmitter with a built-in recorder for backup files in 24-bit or 32-bit float. Recordings are saved on Micro SD cards up to 128 GB, providing plenty of space for long recordings.
The built-in recorder is invaluable in situations where you risk losing wireless signal - you always have a backup of the audio. It's also handy for longer recordings, so you don't have to worry about storage space or signal loss.
A unique feature of the Theos system is the ability to wirelessly synchronize the transmitter's timecode with the Deity TC-1 timecode generator. This ensures that your backup files are perfectly in sync with the main post-production audio - particularly useful when working with multiple cameras or audio sources.
Alternatively, the transmitter (DBTX) can be synced via the 3.5mm jack if you are using an external timecode generator.
Both transmitter and receiver can be controlled via the Sidus Audio app. You can:
Search and assign frequencies
Coordinate multiple receivers
Adjust gain
Remotely start recordings
This makes work faster and smoother, especially on larger recording sites where multiple systems are used simultaneously.
A full-color LCD display provides a clear overview of status, levels and battery life - regardless of lighting conditions.
The chassis is made from CNC-milled aluminum, providing both durability and a professional feel.
Both the DBTX transmitter and D2RX receiver are equipped with SMA connectors. You can swap antennas to optimize performance in different frequency blocks or replace them when needed - perfect for compact and flexible transport.
