Get started with PIXILAB Blocks as a control system and 

Welcome to a two-day hands-on introduction for new users of PIXILAB Blocks. No prior knowledge is required. During the course, you’ll receive basic training on what to consider when setting up a Blocks system, how to install and start it up, and the fundamental concepts of programming control functions in Blocks. 

Accommodations and meals are included for the entire course, so all you need to cover are travel expenses and completion of Level 1 from Netgear AV.

Schedule: 
Day 1:
8:00 a.m. – Breakfast and course overview
9:30 a.m. – Netgear Level 2
12:30 PM – Lunch
1:30 PM – Blocks – Introduction, Design, and Installation
7:00 PM - Dinner

Day 2:
8:30 a.m. - Blocks as a control system
12:00 p.m. - Lunch
1:00 PM - Tasks
5:00 PM - Final exam
6:30 PM - Dinner

Information:
  • Date and time: November 10, 2026 – November 11, 2026
  • Language: Swedish
  • What you need: A computer with a browser installed and an RJ45 Ethernet port.
  • Prerequisites: You must have completed Netgear AV Level 1— https://academy.netgear.com/login/index.php
  • Location: Hotel Granen, Åre
  • Objectives: Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Netgear AV Level 2 certificate and gain knowledge of how to use Blocks as a control system in a professional AV environment.

Travel: The course is scheduled to coincide with SJ’s night train times, so if you choose to travel by night train, we’ll arrange transportation between the hotel and the station. Alternatively, you can fly to Åre/Östersund Airport on Frösön. If you arrive the day before, you’ll be responsible for your own accommodations until the 10th. 

This is an excellent opportunity to quickly get started with PIXILAB Blocks and learn the basics and benefits of Blocks as a control system.
