Intelligent fast charging

Say hello to the fastest and smartest way to charge your Sound Devices batteries. The Astral PowerStation Cell is a compact multi-battery fast charger designed for Astral TX and Astral HH batteries. Charge up to 6× XL-B14500 or 4× XL-B18650 batteries simultaneously in a compact and expandable solution.

The unit can be configured for desktop or rack mounting (requires the optional Astral PowerStation Rack-mount kit). Connect multiple devices with the simple daisy-chain slot-in system to build a sleek and powerful charging station.

The system is powered via intelligent USB-C fast charging, with the option of a 140W power supply for daisy-chained configurations. LED indicators show power, fast charging status, charging progress and warnings. A removable, lockable cover is included to keep batteries in place during transportation or rack mounting.

Mechanism: Series connection via simple, self-guiding "slot-in" mechanism. Screws to secure the mounting are included.

Optional 45W USB-C charger: Suitable for 1 fully loaded charger.
Optional 140W USB-C charger: Suitable for 4 fully loaded chargers connected in series.

LED indicators for charging status:

Power LED: Green = On
Fast charging LED: Green = Active
Battery status LED (one per battery):
Green = 100% charged
Alternating green/blue = 80% charged
Blue = Charging
Flashing red = Error (e.g. unsupported battery chemistry, battery reversed, short circuit or broken battery)

Other:
Removable folding cover: Prevents batteries from falling out during rack mounting or transportation.
