CEC Commands for Bluefin Screens

Flex-OS and 4K Screens

CEC commands for 4K and Flex-OS screens are made up of a hex string containing three parts.

00AA0000BB

  • 00AA – OpCode, indicates the type of function being called.

  • 000 – Unused

  • 0BB – Value of the command being sent.

    The following commands are supported

    • Display OFF: 0077000000

    • Display ON: 0077000001

    • Set Volume: 00730000BB where BB is any hex value between 00 (0%) and 64 (100%)

    • Set Brightness: 00740000BB where BB is any hex value between 00 (0%) and 64 (100%)

      For BrightAuthor presentations, check the box for “substitute source address” when setting up your command.

V Series based Screens

V Series based screens, including 1080p BrightSign Built-In and R Series screens, use a standard set of CEC messages. Display On/Off is supported.

  • Display OFF: E036

  • Display ON: E034
