The Rycote CA-08 is a kidney-shaped recording (cardioid) condenser microphone designed for a range of applications in studio and field recording.

CA- The 08 microphones provide easy directional pickup with a virtually flat frequency response from 70Hz-20KHz, gradually dropping below 60Hz. The microphones are built on Rycote's low self-noise preamplifier design and capsules that offer a consistent sound signature that blends well when used with other Rycote microphones in the range.

The CA-08 microphones can be used individually or in matched stereo pairs.

Each of the microphones comes with a standard Rycote microphone clip and a 5cm foam cover in the box.
