While DPA's omnidirectional mosquitos are suitable for a variety of situations, there are certain situations, such as in difficult acoustic environments, where a directional mosquito works better.† †DPA4080 captures the human voice with an unusually high definition. It is designed for broadcast, both in the studio and in the field.†

It has an acoustic EQ with a 4dB boost in the higher frequency bands, which makes it match the mic's chest placement perfectly. In addition, it is light and extremely audible.†

4080 comes with a pre-installed puff cover with an integrated shock-mount on a clip. Another white puff cover is included. The clip can be turned in all directions and therefore fits well on right- and left-buttoned shirts.†
