Nexmosphere - XR-DR2 - N-tag, Read Only

X-talk
XR2 RFID driver connects to a Nexmosphere Xperience controller with an X-talk cable. All settings and power supply to the XR2 are done directly via the Experience controller, making it a seamless integration to the media player you use.

Read UID (Unique Identifier)
The UID in an NTAG is a unique code for each tag that can be matched, for example, against a database. By default, the XR-DR2 reads the UID from the tag and marks if it was placed or removed from the antenna.†

Read ?Tag number?
In addition, a tag have a Tag number (between 1 and 65535) and unlike UID, several tags can have the same number and this number is also read in the XR-DR2. By using Tag-number, tags can be replaced without changing the programming in the system, because the replacement tag can have the same number as the one being replaced.†

Read ?Custom text labels?< br />In addition, a tag can have three text fields with 16 characters saved that can be read by the XR-DR2. For example, information about the product or the visitor that allows it to be used in extremely dynamic applications.†

RFID tags
XR-DR2 is compatible with all NTAG213 tags, both from Nexmosphere and third parties. Nexmosphere's XNN tags have the following specs:
? 13.56 Mhz, NTAG213
? 28mm tag diameter / 23mm coil diameter
? White coating, sticker on back.

The smaller the NTAG213 used, the shorter the detection range.

The tag number and "Custom Text Lable" are saved on the tag as a standard NDEF information and can be read and overwritten by any third-party NFC printer or NFC app on a smartphone.
