The RB-OA3 is a 1U rack-mounted on-air switch with unity gain that can switch three stereo pairs between three studios. Each studio can control the broadcast path as well as two peripheral signal paths for equipment such as codec or hybrid.
A 'last studio to offer' bus allows seamless and continuous transmission from any studio in a multi-studio network. A 'sustain' mode also allows a hold system - such as a PC-based automation system - to take over and control the broadcast if required.
Multiple RB-OA3 units can be linked together to handle multiple studios or multiple stereo pairs.
