BlueZOO - Black Panther Sensor

BlueZOO's sensor is a small, cost-effective, low-power device, with integrated wifi that passively listens for wifi probes spontaneously emitted by cell phones. The sensors can also be deployed as a plugin on, for example, a Brightsign player with wifi module.

Black Panther has multiple configuration options and communicates with BlueZoo's cloud system via Ethernet or wifi.

The sensor is powered via a microUSB connector or via a PoE (Power over Ethernet).

Black Panther has external antennas, which are useful for two purposes. When the sensor is mounted in a metal enclosure (i.e. a Faraday cage) and the built-in antenna does not have sufficient reception, an external antenna may be necessary. External antennas can be omnidirectional or directional, which are useful to limit the detection range of sensors.

Directional antennas allow sensors to detect people in smaller spaces, such as in front of a specific display in a store or in a corner of a restaurant.

These antennas typically define cone-shaped detection zones, usually with a 90-degree arc. Sensors with directional antennas are calibrated in the same way as omni-directional antennas: by distance, range detection or calibration based on real data

Licenses To work, the sensor needs to be combined with one or more licenses. The basic license is called Count and is always needed. Then you can build on in the following order: If you have Count, you can add Analyze. If you have Analyze, you can add Convert and/or Flow.
